INTERIOR DESIGN FAQ
Let us take all the guesswork out of your design project
We’re sure you have a ton of questions about where and how to begin your design project. To get you started, we’ve provided a few answers below to some of our most asked questions.
Full service interior design means you’ll have an interior designer and design team managing your entire project from the draft stage to the finished installation. Our team will work between you (the client) and contractors to make sure you’re getting the value out the service you are paying for. We’ll take on all the planning, purchasing and stressful details, so you can sit back and eagerly await the completion of your design project.
Not at all! Our team designs to what is best suited for the client. We are well versed in many different design styles and we will work closely with you to establish your preferred aesthetic. Once we have a better idea of what you like, then comes the fun of finding project materials that meet your budget and fulfill your design dreams.
It is the client’s responsibility to hire the contractors for their design project — but if you do not have your own contractors established, don’t worry! We would be happy to make references of professional contractors we have worked with in the past that do fantastic work. If you do have your own contractors or if you would like to find your own, we are happy to work with any outside contractors.
The turn around time is normally between 2-6 months depending on the scale of the project.
If you want design help, but full-service isn’t in your budget, this is the option for you! Designer for a Day means you’ll get a one-on-one meeting with a lead designer and design assistant to get feedback and advice on all your design questions and a tour of the local showrooms to source materials for your project. The Designer for a Day package is $1200, meetings typically last 2-4 hours and they must be scheduled during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).
